These Terms of Use (“Terms”) set forth the conditions under which services provided on this website (“Service”) by Akala (“we” or “us”) are to be used. Users of the Service (“Users”) are required to comply with these Terms.
Article 1 (Application)
These Terms apply to all relationships related to the use of the Service between Users and us.
Article 2 (Registration)
Registration is completed when an applicant applies for registration in the manner prescribed by us, and we approve the application. We reserve the right not to approve an application for registration if any of the following reasons apply, without any obligation to disclose the reasons:
- If false information is provided in the application for registration.
- If the application is from a person who has violated these Terms.
- In any other cases where we deem the registration to be inappropriate.
Article 3 (Prohibited Actions)
Users must not engage in the following actions when using the Service:
- Acts that violate laws or public order and morals.
- Acts related to criminal activity.
- Acts that destroy or interfere with the function of our servers or networks.
- Acts that may interfere with the operation of our Service.
- Collecting or accumulating personal information about other users.
- Impersonating other users.
- Directly or indirectly providing benefits to antisocial forces in relation to our Service.
- Other acts deemed inappropriate by us.
Article 4 (Suspension of Service)
We may suspend or interrupt all or part of the Service without prior notice to the user if we determine any of the following reasons exist:
- When maintenance, inspection, or updates of the computer system related to the Service are being performed.
- In case of force majeure such as earthquakes, lightning, fire, power outages, or natural disasters that make it difficult to provide the Service.

Article 5 (Use Restrictions and Registration Cancellation)
The Company may, without prior notice, restrict the use of all or part of the Services or cancel the user’s registration under the following circumstances:
- If any provision of these Terms is violated,
- If it is discovered that there were false facts in the registration information,
- Otherwise, if the Company deems the use of the Services to be inappropriate.
The Company bears no liability for any damages incurred by the user as a result of actions taken by the Company under this article.
Article 6 (Disclaimer of Warranty)
The Company’s liability for failure to perform any obligation shall be exempted unless it is due to the Company’s intentional or gross negligence. Even if the Company is liable for any reason, it shall be liable only within the scope of damages that are normally foreseeable and, in the case of paid services, within the amount of the service fee (for continuous services, the equivalent of one month’s fee).
The Company shall not be responsible for any transactions, communications, or disputes, etc., that occur between the user and another user or a third party regarding the Services.
Article 7 (Changes to the Service Contents)
The Company may change the contents of the Service or discontinue providing the Service without notifying the user, and shall not be liable for any damage caused to the user by these actions.
Article 8 (Amendment of the Terms of Use)
The Company may amend these Terms of Use at any time without notice to the user if it deems it necessary.
Article 9 (Notification or Communication)
Notifications or communications between the user and the Company shall be made in the manner prescribed by the Company.
Article 10 (Prohibition of Assignment of Rights and Obligations)
The user may not assign or offer as security to a third party any status under the service contract or any rights or obligations under these Terms without the prior written consent of the Company.
Article 11 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
These Terms of Use shall be governed by the laws of Japan. In the event of any dispute arising in connection with the Service, the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Company’s head office shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
